Supplier Management, Classification and Evaluation

Supplier evaluation is a process essential to managing supplier relations, with its key goal being to enhance supplier performance, which is regularly examined via feedback. Areas examined include product and service quality, timeliness, responsiveness and cost. The objectives are to ensure that suppliers optimally meet the organization's requirements, identify potential problems and promote continuous improvement. Evaluating suppliers assists them in upping their performance to everyone’s benefit, and specifically contributes to maintaining effective and sustainable business relations.

Feedback is obtained via surveys sent out at regular intervals to a range of stakeholders (end users, and service and goods recipients). Following receipt of feedback, questionnaire scores are analyzed and processed, to consolidate comprehensive feedback based on survey responses and supplier performance scores. All this, so as to develop organizational memory, strengthen our trends identification capabilities, predict problems and risks, and ensure optimal treatment and ongoing improvement.
