Orientation and Assistance in New Laboratories
An annual program of introductory meetings with new scientists, conducted in accordance with the Weizmann Institute's recruitment program. The purpose of the meetings is to help establish an operational plan for equipment purchase and for initial, short-term gearing up.
When new scientists are admitted to the institute, they are invited to an introductory meeting and needs assessment. The academic administration provides all necessary information for the meeting, which is coordinated with the Head of the Programs and Processes branch and the administrative Head of the relevant department. The meeting is attended by the Head of the division, the Heads of the Local Procurement, International Procurement and Warehouse branches, and the Head of Administration.
