Ultraclean laboratory
Our laboratory is equipped to support high-precision chemical and isotopic analyses under clean conditions. The space is divided into Class 10,000 and Class 1,000 cleanroom zones.
Cleanroom Infrastructure:
1. Four Class 10 laminar flow hoods dedicated to chemical processing
2. One chemical fume hood
3. One general-purpose laminar flow hood
4. Milli-Q ultrapure water system
Automated Sample Preparation:
- ESI prepFAST-MC for automated elemental separation
The prepFAST MC systems are fully automated, low pressure chromatography units that isolate elements of interest from the sample matrix and collect multiple discrete eluent fractions for precise isotopic analysis. The syringe-driven systems allow for sample loading, multiple acid washes, column conditioning and elution cycles, all at user-defined intervals (time, volume and flow rate). -
Elemental Scientific seaFAST system for automated preconcentration of rare earth elements (REEs), uranium, and thorium
The seaFAST is an automated sample introduction system for analysis of seawater and other high matrix samples. It delivers excellent accuracy and repeatability, giving labs research-quality results. - TitroLine 7000 automatic titrator with exchangeable heads for potentiometry
With its performance spectrum, the TitroLine® 7000 is the ideal starting device for potentiometric titration with potential for expansion and automation. Thanks to the high-resolution and precise pH/ mV and “dead-stop” measuring interface, it is possible to determine a wide range of parameters quickly, reliable and accurate.
