Your role will include:
The "Gnaim Research Group" at the Weizmann Institute of Science is seeking a Research Staff with an MSc in Organic Chemistry for a central role in the day to day management of the laboratory and in supporting advanced synthetic research.

Key Responsibilities
• Ongoing operational management of the laboratory, including coordination of daily activities, maintaining order and organization, and working closely with the research team.
• Procurement and inventory management, including tracking chemicals and consumables, placing orders, working with suppliers, and documentation.
• Safety and procedures, implementation and enforcement of laboratory safety regulations.
• Equipment and instrumentation maintenance, responsibility for routine laboratory equipment, troubleshooting, and coordination of service. This includes pumps and balances. Experience with a glovebox and Schlenk line systems is an advantage.
• Onboarding and training of new staff and students, including instruction on proper laboratory work, documentation, and safety.
Skills and abilities:
Required Qualifications
• MSc in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field.
• High level of proficiency in English, spoken, read, and written, required for daily work in an international environment.
• Hands on experience in organic synthesis is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently with research and administrative teams.
Significant Advantages
• Previous experience in laboratory management or operations in academia or industry.
• Familiarity with common analytical techniques such as NMR, LC or GC, and MS.
