Purchasing Buyer
Your role will include:
Responsible for the procurement process of goods and services, including but not limited to:

Managing supplier relationships (SRM)

Identifying sources and procurement requirements

Verifying alignment between demand data and supplier agreements
-
Evaluating the need for cataloging, purchase history, and commercial terms, with emphasis on procurement options and final pricing
-
Analyzing price quotations and selecting the preferred alternative
-
Negotiating to maximize terms with suppliers
-
Collaborating on the preparation of legal agreements, in coordination with the legal department, when necessary
-
Identifying and searching for alternative suppliers/solutions
-
Managing and tracking supply stages until order closure
-
Providing backup support to category purchasers in the field when needed
Skills and abilities:
-
Academic degree – mandatory (fields of Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration – an advantage)

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement – mandatory

Certified procurement courses – an advantage
-
Experience and familiarity with legal procurement agreements – an advantage
-
Experience in scientific or technical procurement – an advantage

Experience working with ERP systems

Strong negotiation skills

Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken

Excellent interpersonal communication and high service orientation
