Your role will include:

 

Responsible for the procurement process of goods and services, including but not limited to:

  • Managing supplier relationships (SRM)

  • Identifying sources and procurement requirements

  • Verifying alignment between demand data and supplier agreements

  • Evaluating the need for cataloging, purchase history, and commercial terms, with emphasis on procurement options and final pricing

  • Analyzing price quotations and selecting the preferred alternative

  • Negotiating to maximize terms with suppliers

  • Collaborating on the preparation of legal agreements, in coordination with the legal department, when necessary

  • Identifying and searching for alternative suppliers/solutions

  • Managing and tracking supply stages until order closure

  • Providing backup support to category purchasers in the field when needed

Skills and abilities:

  • Academic degree – mandatory (fields of Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration – an advantage)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement – mandatory

  • Certified procurement courses – an advantage

  • Experience and familiarity with legal procurement agreements – an advantage

  • Experience in scientific or technical procurement – an advantage

  • Experience working with ERP systems

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and high service orientation
