Your role will include:

The Department of Brain Sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science is recruiting a Research Staff to serve as project coordinator for a research project focused on developing biological biomarkers for personality traits and neuropsychiatric disorders (including autism).

Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of a multidisciplinary project involving students, research assistants, biological service units at the Weizmann Institute, and collaborators in medicine and psychiatry.

  • Coordinating the collection of biological samples from volunteers and administering questionnaires.

  • Overseeing administrative and operational tasks, including work with biological samples.

 

Skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field.

  • Experience working with volunteers in scientific research – an advantage.

  • Significant advantage for experience with mass spectrometry instruments (HPLC-MS/MS).

  • Proficiency in data management and analysis software; experience with AI – an advantage.

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multidisciplinary project management skills.

  • Responsibility, creativity, initiative, and high motivation.
