Your role will include:
- Operate and maintain central mechanical systems: water, compressed air, heating (steam), and air conditioning.
- Monitor control system alerts and respond promptly to alarms.
- Conduct facility inspections and checks on-site across the Institute.
- Provide daytime operational support and coordinate standby personnel when needed after hours.
- Work rotating shifts (day/night) on a continuous year‑round schedule.
Skills and abilities:
- Availability for 24/7 shift schedule is mandatory.
- Certifications required: Certified Mechanical Technician / HVAC Technician (or equivalent experience in a similar role).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Preferred (advantage):
- Previous experience supervising a team.
- Licensed Electrician.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience with HMI tools such as Cimplicity.
- Certification in steam or heating boiler operation.
- Languages: Native Hebrew; technical-level comprehension of English and basic conversational skills.
- Soft Skills: High service orientation, excellent interpersonal communication, strong organizational skills, precision, ability to multitask, handle pressure, and work beyond normal hours when needed.
