Your role will include:
Responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of refrigeration systems within the Institute, including refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, and scientific equipment with independent cooling systems, both on-site and off-site.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration system malfunctions
- Performing preventive maintenance, as well as renovations, upgrades, and modifications to existing refrigeration systems, including ongoing monitoring of their functionality and performance
- Working in accordance with safety procedures and required standards, while maintaining a safe working environment
Skills and abilities:
- Certified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician – Level 1 certification – mandatory (Level 2 certification or higher – a significant advantage)
- Certified Electrician license – an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience working as a refrigeration technician – mandatory
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and technical English
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a very high level of service orientation
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
