Research Assistant for the department of Biomolecular Sciences

Position Overview:

Independent Research: Formulating research questions, conducting experiments, working with cell cultures, molecular biology, and bacteria

Lab Management: Writing grants and ethics approvals, supervising and mentoring students, managing equipment and inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring lab safety.
Skills and abilities:

Ph.D. in Biology or a related field.

Experience in molecular biology and wet lab techniques.

Experience with cell cultures, bacteria, or immunology – strong advantage.

High-level English (scientific writing, grants, presentations, international conferences).

Ability to balance bench work with lab management responsibilities.

Independent, proactive, energetic, with strong leadership and team motivation skills.

Background in chemistry – advantage.
