Your role will include:
- Development of tools for learning biological data analysis of various types.
- Building exercises in computational and statistical research methods, with emphasis on clinical and biological data.
- Ongoing monitoring of students' progress in acquiring data analysis skills.
- Guidance and mentoring of teaching staff and teaching assistants.
- Integration of advanced tools for data analysis: Single cell RNAseq, ATACseq, GWAS, Image analysis, Methylation analysis, Machine learning
Skills and abilities:
- BSc in Bioinformatics and at least 2 years experience in relevant industry OR M.Sc. in Bioinformatics and B.Sc. in Computer Science
- Experience in Python programming - required
- Experience in R programming- advantage
- Native-level English and Hebrew
- Experience in developing teaching materials and/or actual teaching - advantage
