Your role will include:

  • Ongoing office administration, including answering phone calls, calendar management, meeting minutes, and handling correspondence
  • Providing administrative support to the Head of Department, Administrative Director, and research scientists
  • Coordinating and tracking scientists’ international travel
  • Handling purchase orders, service requests, and invoices, including monitoring and budget control
  • Maintaining and updating the department’s website
  • Working with multiple interfaces within the institute and externally
  • Monitoring and handling services for external clients
  • Assisting in organizing departmental events and employee welfare activities

     

Skills and abilities:

  • Academic degree / Certified Practical Engineer / Certified Technician – advantage
  • Previous experience in an administrative role and budget management
  • Experience working with scientific departments – advantage
  • Full proficiency in Office applications, with emphasis on Excel
    (Familiarity with Tefenit system, ERP, and Internal Services systems – advantage)
  • Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, high service orientation, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
