Exercising for Health

The goal of the class is to maintain and improve daily functioning and quality of life.

Regular and controlled exercise helps to slow the natural degeneration of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and bones that occurs as we age.

Exercising for Health combines exercises to improve physical fitness in a balanced way, while maintaining proper posture, supporting the spine and providing tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The class is designed to improve physical coordination, strengthen bone density, and teach proper movement and posture.

The class uses balls, weights, and fitness bands along with enjoyable background music.

The class maintains a moderate pace to allow every participant to join in.

The class will be taught by Nurit Oz and runs 60 minutes.

Functional training

Functional training is high intensity, activates many muscle groups, is a high calorie burner and requires less training time than exercise that focuses on individual muscle groups. Functional training uses different kinds of fitness equipment, such as weights, kettlebells, aerobic steps, agility ladders and more.

HIIT

HIIT is an intervals-based sprint and short training program that works on most of the body muscles over a short period of time. The intensity of the training can be adjusted to the fitness level of the trainee.
