We would like to take this opportunity to emphasize our commitment in continuing to be an organization that works to promote equal opportunities, diversity and a sense of belonging for all.
In the past year, Weizmann Institute’s Diversity and Inclusion Office continued to promote a variety of initiatives aimed at recruiting students from diverse backgrounds; strengthening equal opportunities and providing adapted support to students from underrepresented groups; and strengthening the sense of belonging of all community members, faculty and employees, Israelis and internationals.
On this day, we have chosen to highlight the students, faculty members and employees who volunteer their time for the benefit of the community.
We would like to congratulate this year's winner of the Outstanding Student Award for Diversity, Oran Ayalon, and the winners of the Diversity Appreciation Certificate, Mahran Shehade and Fadi Khateeb, for their significant volunteer work in promoting diverse populations at the Weizmann Institute and within Israeli society.
