This is a unique opportunity to participate in innovative experimental and theoretical research led by the best scientists from the Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the world's top ten leading research institutions, and to receive a scholarship of 15,000 NIS.
About the program
As part of the program, you will join a research group at the Weizmann Institute of Science for eight weeks during the summer months of 2026 (July-September). The exact date for starting work in the research groups and the required practical activities will be coordinated and agreed upon with the heads of the research groups. A commitment to eight weeks of continuous work is required, on the Weizmann Institute of Science campus in Rehovot. Accommodation at the Institute for the duration of the program will be provided based on need and availability.
Who is the program for?
Undergraduate students in the exact sciences: physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and life sciences and medicine, during the second year of studies (or the remainder of one academic year), from groups that are underrepresented in academia:
Arab students, Druze
Students of Ethiopian descent
Alumni of Haredi education
Students from the periphery, and first-generation in higher education
