To define/add a default language in Windows:

1. Click Start → Control Panel → Region and Language.
2. Open the Keyboards and Languages tab.
3. Click Change Keyboards, then click Add.
4. Double-click the language you wish to add, then select Keyboard and choose the desired language.
5. Click OK.

To minimize all your open windows into a single window, slide the heading line of the desired window quickly back and forth.
Repeat the same action to restore the windows to their previous state.

To create a new user on a computer:

1. Click Start and click the picture at the top of the menu.
2. Click Manage another account , then click Create a new account.
3. Enter the new user's name in English.

Spelling the end for paper notes, Sticky Notes enables you to list tasks and assignments, and jot down phone numbers and anything else you've been used to writing down on paper.

To create a new note:

1. Click Start and  enter Sticky Notes in the search box.
2. Start writing!

You may save additional time and effort by adding a shortcut to Sticky Notes on your desktop.

To personalize your Windows desktop background, right-click your desktop, click Personalize and choose the image you want as your background.

* You may select several images to enjoy a slideshow on your desktop. Click Desktop Background at the bottom of the window, check off the images you want to have in the slideshow with a V, and save the changes.

To personalize the color of your windows, right-click your desktop, click Personalize, click Window color and select your desired color. Don't forget to save changes.

You may use the Snipping Tool to capture the screen or any part of it, add notes to it, and save it as an image for later use. To do so:

1. Click Start and enter Snipping Tool in the search box.
2. Outline the object/area you wish to capture.

You may save additional time and effort by adding a shortcut to the Snipping Tool on your desktop.

Drag the window you wish to have on the right side of your screen to the right until it changes shape and locks into the right screen margin, then drag the second window to the left until it similarly changes shape and locks into the left screen margin. You may now work with both windows side-by-side.

To perform searches, enter the search term in either the search box situated at the top of every window, or the search box located on the Start menu. As you begin typing, the search will initiate automatically. You may alternatively initiate a search by pressing the [Windows]+[F] keyboard shortcut.

To install or remove installed applications:

1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
2. Select Programs and Features and right-click the desired application.

Search libraries allow you to view various files within a single folder, despite the fact that these files are physically stored at different locations.

To view your files via a search library:

1. Click Start and enter Libraries in the search box.
2. Right-click the window that appears and click New, then click Library.
3. Add the files you want to have appear in this library.

• You may choose files from anywhere on your computer.
• The library does not use any computer memory/storage.
