The WISBackup service is a solution newly implemented at the Weizmann Institute for Windows, Mac and Linux workstation operating system and software backup.
The WISBackup service is highly recommended for lab computers, and especially for those connected to research equipment. WISBackup provides as many as four restore points that can be relied on to keep downtime to a minimum in any case of Institute storage server hardware or software failure.
Instructions for Use
Use of the service requires registration via Internal Services, following which the Institute’s IT support representatives will contact you, to coordinate completion of local client installation on registered workstations.
