Your role will include:
Overall managerial responsibility for the operations of the workshops (construction, carpentry, and metalwork), including:
- Managing and professionally leading the workshops team, including prioritization, task allocation, professional guidance, supervision, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Operating and overseeing all service requests, monitoring response and resolution times, ensuring compliance with SLA targets, and handling purchase orders and invoices
- Responsibility for and oversight of roof maintenance across the campus, including managing and supervising waterproofing contractors via a dedicated system/application, maintaining databases, and enforcing safety and cleanliness procedures
- Responsibility for the maintenance, operation, and ongoing handling of equipment, including pumps, autoclaves, and lifting equipment
- Responsibility for implementing workplace safety procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Skills and abilities:
- Mechanical Technician/Practical Engineer or Industrial Engineering & Management – an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience managing professional teams – mandatory
- Professional knowledge and experience in metalwork and/or carpentry – an advantage
- Graduate of a safety course / Safety Trustee – an advantage
- Full proficiency in Office applications (familiarity with “Tafnit” system and maintenance management systems – an advantage)
- Initiative, responsibility, systemic thinking, and ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to work beyond standard working hours, as required
