Your role will include:
Providing ongoing professional support to employees throughout rights utilization processes מול various entities, including:
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field of rights and making it accessible to Institute employees and professional staff
- Assisting with the submission of applications, appeals, and completion of required documentation
- Working systemically with external entities to improve service response and promote collaborations
- Contributing to workload reduction and improving the quality and availability of the service
- Coordinating, organizing, documenting, analyzing, and summarizing all service inquiries
Skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Social Sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences) – mandatory (Law degree – a significant advantage)
- Certificate studies/courses in rights utilization, National Insurance, welfare, or counseling (proven experience in rights utilization – a significant advantage)
- Experience working with eligible populations (senior citizens, people with disabilities, students, families in distress, etc.)
- Experience working with institutions such as the National Insurance Institute, local authorities, welfare departments, non-profit and social organizations, rights centers, or legal clinics, including providing individual support throughout bureaucratic processes
- Experience submitting applications, forms, and appeals to public entities (experience writing professional letters/appeals – a significant advantage)
- Familiarity with the Israeli rights system (National Insurance Institute, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Welfare, student/employee/people with disabilities rights)
- Understanding of bureaucratic processes and rights utilization, with the ability to read and understand official documents and procedures
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Full proficiency in computer applications
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English
- Initiative, responsibility, discretion, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills
