The Instruments Maintenance and Repair section is made up of expert technicians able to repair and maintain laboratory equipment such as Vacuum Pumps, Centrifuges, Incubators, Ice Makers, Film Developers, Pipettes, Balances , Shakers, and more. The team also carries out preventative service for much of the abovementioned equipment on a regular basis.
Alon Twito , the head of the unit is an Electronic Engineer who has a lot of knowledge in electronic issues therefor the unit also have the ability to repair complex electronic equipment and also to develop custom equipment suitable for the specific needs of the researchers .Our professional and skilled experts are on call during workdays to provide immediate technical solutions in the research departments.
