About the service
The unit offers a variety of services which bridge the gaps between hardware, code and data, which include intercommunication and computer operation of laboratory instruments, efficient and automated data collection, customization of user interfaces, data analysis and mathematical modelling, as well as consulting in selection and assembly of commercial equipment.
Projects dealt with, range in scale from quick solutions for extemporary control of legacy instruments, to designing and maintaining complex plants throughout their lifecycle.
Additionally, dr. Enrico Segre has extensive experience in numerics and computational codes, both commercial and in-house. The unit can assist in mathematical modelling and numerical simulation, and offer scientific involvement in longer term projects.
