Spectrum of electromagnetic radiation

The spectrum of electromagnetic radiation describes variety of types of electromagnetic radiation on a continuous scale of frequencies or scale of wave lengths. 

The spectrum is divided to two ranges: ionizing radiation and nonionizing radiation.
