Several groups in the Israeli society are clearly underrepresented in institutions of higher education in general and in advanced degrees programs in science in particular.
The goal of the Young Weizmann Scholars Diversity Program is to encourage undergraduate science students affiliated with the following Israeli communities: Arab, Druze, Circassian, Ethiopian Jewry, Ultra-orthodox (חרדים), to explore the opportunity of pursuing graduate studies in Science. Studnets who grew up in the Israeli geographical or economical periphery (especially those who are first generation university students in their families), are welcome to apply as well.
For more details please read the program's brochure, or, visit the program webpage at the WIS Diversity website.
