The Library supports the Institute's world-class research and education, providing access to extensive scientific collections, advanced information services, and expert guidance throughout the research lifecycle. The Library empowers scientists, students, and staff with the resources and expertise they need to advance scientific excellence and innovation.
The Library offers access to a vast collection of journals, books, databases and research tools. We support access to all our resources and offer professional reference assistance, training services, and inter-library loan services.
The Weizmann Institute Library consists of the Goldschleger Library, the Mathematics & CS Library (located in the Ziskind building) and the Physics collection (located in the Benoziyo physics building). The Goldschleger Library, located in the Goldschleger building, served both as the central physical library and as the Library’s headquarters, but due to the June 2025 missile attack, the Goldschleger building has been repurposed, and there is currently no physical library or study space available there. Some of our physical collections have been stored and are temporarily inaccessible; others are available by request.
In addition to our wide range of scientific resources, we also maintain an audio book collection, games and special collections (including science fiction and women in science collections).
