Several groups in Israeli society are clearly underrepresented in higher education institutions overall and in advanced science degree programs in particular.
The goal of the Young Weizmann Scholars Diversity Program is to encourage undergraduate science students affiliated with the following Israeli communities: Arab, Druze, Circassian, Ethiopian Jewry, Ultra-orthodox (חרדים), to explore the opportunity of pursuing graduate studies in Science. Students who grew up in the Israeli geographic or economic periphery (especially first-generation university students in their families) are also welcome to apply.
