How does Bina choose projects for participation in the nurture program?

Following the receipt of your application, a joint Bina-Yeda team will review the application to determine the project status. Advanced projects will be referred to Yeda for IP protection and commercial pursuit, whereas early-stage projects will be referred to Bina.

Bina aims to establish an ongoing, transparent dialogue with each applicant. Once a project has been allocated to Bina, we will coordinate a meeting to discuss your technology in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project. Each project will be assessed by a committee of Weizmann Institute PI’s and alumni, industry professionals and Yeda representatives. You will present your project to the committee, and participate in open discussions about your project and the applied potential of your technology or idea.

Selected projects will be guided throughout the applied research project, starting with the creation of a well-defined work plan, all the way to a valid proof of concept. Funding will be provided according to specific project needs.
