Option 1 Itinerary (easy-moderate)
08:00 – Departure from Weizmann
08:45 –Massua Lookout + breakfast
09:15 – An easy 3.5 km walk from Massua Lookout to Horvat Midras - an archaeological site including a Byzantine church, and underground refuge system where we will crawl through the caves (option to wait outside).
12:45 – Bus ride to Barak Winery. If time allows, we will visit Tel Azekah, site of the biblical battle between David and Goliath.
13:30 – Arrival at Barak Winery
14:00 – Winery tour and wine tasting
14:45 – Head back to Rehovot
15:30 – Estimated arrival in Rehovot

Option 2 Itinerary (moderate - hard)
07:30 – Departure from Weizmann
08:45 – Arrival at Horvat Midras + breakfast
09:15 – A 6.5 km hike between Horvat Midras, Horvat Atari and Horvat Burgin. These three archaeological sites include an underground refuge system where we will crawl through the caves (option to wait outside).
14:00 – Bus ride to Barak Winery
14:30 – Arrival at Barak Winery + lunch
15:00 – Winery tour and wine tasting
15:45 – End of the tour and return to Rehovot
16:30 – Estimated arrival in Rehovot
