Who can join: WIS International employees, Visiting Scientists, full-time FGS students & postdocs (International & Israeli) and their immediate family members and visiting students.
Cost: 40 NIS per person. Only after completing the payment will your spot be secured. If you are not offered the option to pay, it means that the event is sold out.
The trip is not suitable for children under age 10 and is a moderate hike.
Itinerary:

07:45 - Pick up from within the Campus - at the buses parking lot near Sabin lawn

10:30 - Stop at Goren Park where you will have breakfast - make sure to bring your own!

11:30-15:30 - A hike of 3-4 hours in Nahal Kziv, and parts of it will be in the river - this route begins at Goren Park and continues along a trail which offers spectacular views of Monfort Castle, to Nahal Kziv in an area known to offer some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Israel. With a river that flows all year round, a flowing spring, a historical Crusader fortress on a mountainside and lots of panoramic green views; this is not one to miss. We will stop for a lunch break during the hike.
