Levels 1 & 2

We are glad to offer Hebrew lessons as subsidized courses on campus, overseen by the WSoS in all academic aspects of the courses, twice a year, In November and March. 

The lessons are for: WSoS internationals, WSoS new immigrants, WIS international employees, WIS visiting scientists, and their spouses. Courses for new immigrants who are employees are organized by the HR Organizational learning section. Please contact Michal Altabeb directly to check when the next course is.  

  • Level 1 is for complete beginners. 
  • Level 2 is for those who have studied 48 hours of Hebrew. 
  • 24 lessons, twice a week, in the evening (2 academic hours).
  • 300 shekels including materials.

Levels 3, 4, 5

The lessons are held in small groups on campus in the evening. Levels 3, 4, and 5 are run privately by Mrs. Amit Cohen:

Ulpan La-Inyan A comprehensive Hebrew-learning experience focusing on the skills needed for conversation. 

Ulpan-Or Study Hebrew online with a personal Hebrew coach. Ulpan Or offers study kits, workshops, and online tutors. You can choose to study a particular vocabulary set, such as focusing on learning the professional language you need for your vocation.
