Visit the amazing fortress of Masada and then relax in the salty water of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth
Itinerary:
08:00 Departure from the Campus - at the Parking lot in front of the San Martin guesthouse.
10:30 – 11:00 Breakfast break
11:00 – 13:00 Klimb up the Roman Ramp (30 min hike) to Masada, and tour the fortress which dates to King Herod’s time, taking in the incredible views across the Dead Sea region and the Judean Desert.
13:00 – 14:00 Go down by cable car and travel by bus to the Dead Sea (Ein Bokek beach).
14:00 – 16:00 Relax in the Dead Sea, float on its salty water and have a lunch break.
16:00 Head back to Rehovot
18:00 Anticipated return to Rehovot
Children: The trip is suitable for children 10 years old and older.
