Following many requests, we are offering an exciting two-day trip to experience the Negev in day and night. We will stay at Han Hashayarot campsite in a large, shared Bedouin tent with shared toilets and hot-water showers. The place provides mattresses only, please make sure to bring bedding or a sleeping bag.

07:30 Depart from Weizmann.
09:30 Hike around Havarim stream and Ein Avdat.
14:30 Arrival at Han Hashayarot campsite.
19:00 Hot dinner (meat/vegetarian) at the campsite.
Night time: campfire.
Saturday 24.01.2026
07:00 Breakfast and collect lunchboxes.
07:30 Departure
09:00 Hike in Ramon Crater.
15:00 Head back to Weizmann.
18:00 Estimated arrival at Weizmann.

Cost: 550 NIS per person, including: accommodation, dinner, breakfast and a lunchbox.
Cancellations after 06.01.2026 will not be refunded.
Note: A minimum number of participants is required. If we don’t reach the minimum number by 08.01.2026, the trip will be cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded and a one-day trip will take place instead. The trip is weather dependent.
Fitness level: The trip is suitable for adult, experienced and fit hikers. It is not suitable for people who are afraid of heights.
