Project goals:
- To establish a nationwide network of professional learning communities (following the fan model) that promotes the professional development of middle-school computer science teachers. This includes engaging in inquiry into teaching practice, sharing instructional materials during and after their validation through classroom use, building a supportive professional social network, and fostering a safe and open environment that enables honest discourse about successes as well as difficulties and challenges.
- To support the lead teachers of the regional communities as part of the process of strengthening their professional identity.
- To develop instructional resources for the lead teachers.
