The purpose of the proposed research is to investigate, develop and implement tools for customized online teaching and learning that address affective aspects of choice and interest. The study will use a PETEL (Personalized Teaching and Learning, L) environment. We hypothesize that the PETEL environment can provide teachers with an emotional-social picture of each learner in the classroom, in real time, in addition to the cognitive analysis. It can also support students' choice and independent learning. The proposed research methods combine quantitative research methods, educational data mining methods (EDM) and statistical tools for data analysis.
Teaching and learning activities will be located, adapted, developed and made accessible, including support for teachers.
