The diverse needs of the of the community of faculty members of the Weizmann Institute of Science are served through various mediums, primarily the Academic Affairs Office, and the Research Grants Office, which together oversee faculty career advancement and grants administration. Visiting Scholars
Visiting scholars play an integral role in the daily life of the Weizmann Institute of Science. The language of instruction at the Weizmann School of Science and in the lab is English. Visiting scholars—faculty, postdocs, and students—infuse our labs with their expertise from a diversity of countries and institutions, and at the same time learn from our scientists and ultimately become part of a worldwide network of scientists with deep ties to the Weizmann Institute.
Students
Student life at the Weizmann Institute of Science is vibrant and stimulating. The focal point for all students is the Weizmann School of Science at the David Lopatie Hall of Graduate Studies, in the heart of the Weizmann Institute campus on the main road. Masters and PhD students are able to devote their time to their coursework and lab work because of the supportive environment created by Weizmann School of Science, from a policy of tuition-free studies thanks to generous monthly scholarships for the duration of studies to easily accessible services of all kinds.
