About Us
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a powerful spectroscopic technique that provides information about the structural and chemical properties of molecules. NMR is one of the few non-destructive methods for analyzing structure and molecular dynamics. The High-Resolution, high-field Bio-NMR Lab, under the Magnetic Resonance Unit, comprises 3 high-resolution spectrometers ranging from 600-1000 MHz.
The UltraShield Bruker AVANCE NEO-600 spectrometer, enables state-of-the-art high-resolution multi-dimensional experiments for specialized biologically oriented research. Being equipped with both a 1.7 mm and a 5 mm TCI CryoProbes as well as with an automatic sample changer, it provides a modern facility for metabolomics studies.
The 800 MHz high-resolution spectrometer (Bruker) enables high-resolution multi-dimensional experiments for specialized biologically oriented research. This AVANCE III-800 spectrometer is equipped with a 5 mm TCI CryoProbe to further increase its sensitivity.
The 1000 MHz (1 GHz) ultrahigh field NMR spectrometer (Bruker) recently installed is the 3rd of its kind worldwide and provides access to the highest magnetic field currently available in Israel, enabling state-of-the-art high-resolution multi-dimensional experiments for specialized biologically oriented research.
