Dear Friends,
I am pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2020, Prof. Yehiam Prior is heading the Division of Information Systems at the WIS. He has replaced Prof. Yigal Burstein who was Senior Advisor to the President for Information Systems, as well as the Head of the Division, over the past eight and a half years.
Professor Prior has held many positions at the Weizmann Institute, including Head of the Department of Chemical Physics, the first Head of the Division of Information Systems, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and Vice Chair and Chairman of the Scientific Council.
I would like to thank Prof. Prior for agreeing to take on this important role and I am confident that he will carry it out with great success.
