Institute for Environmental Sustainability

The Institute for Environmental Sustainability is dedicated to providing the scientific foundation for breakthrough solutions that protect the environment and promote sustainable living. The IES is a natural outgrowth of the Sustainability and Energy Research Initiative (SAERI), established in 2006 to support scientific discovery in the field of alternative energy, and later, other areas of sustainability research.
