In this special talk, Prof. Robin Selinger will discuss her career in theoretical soft matter physics, tracing her path from early research to professorship at Kent State University's Advanced Materials and Liquid Crystal Institute. She will share insights from her work in materials science and her experience becoming the first woman faculty member at Kent State to be elected Fellow of the American Physical Society.
