School of Microscopy – Workshops series on advanced microscopy techniques

We are happy to introduce the School of Microscopy, a new series of workshops on advanced microscopy techniques organized by the EM unit. The School of Microscopy series aims to provide current and future users of our microscopy facilities with a broader knowledge of advanced microscopy and spectroscopy techniques, theoretically and practically.

Michael Katz, Dr. Nadav Elad, and Prof. Ron Diskin for the development of an efficient method for coating EM grids with graphene monolayer for single-particle cryo-EM data collection.
Prof. Itay Halevi and Dr. Ifat Kaplan-Ashiri for the development of a method to study metal-sulfide minerals using cathodoluminescence in scanning electron microscope.
Dr. Filipe Natalio, Dr. XiaoMeng Sui, and Ifat Kaplan-Ashiri for the development of in situ wet Scanning Electron Microscopy method for analyzing hydrophobicity of biological samples.
