Piezoelectric motors and devices have been vividly investigated and discovered due to many advantages such as high thrust force, efficiency, and compactness in size. In this presentation, the recent research activities on the piezoelectric in KIST would be introduced. The presentation includes various types of the piezoelectric actuators and energy harvesters following the research fields of the Electro-Functional Materials & Devices Lab in KIST. Also, the brief introduction of overall KIST research activities is included.
