Adi Herman is a PhD student studying sustainable catalytic chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Ronny Neumann in the Department of Molecular Chemistry and Material Science at the Weizmann Institute. She has a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry from Bar Ilan University and MSc in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

In her current research, Adi is working on coupling the electrochemical reduction of CO2 to the electrochemical oxidation of different organic substrates using polyoxometalates as catalysts. This has the potential for high energy efficiency and the production of useful chemicals.
