Getting to Campus

Public Transportation

The Weizmann Institute is situated in central Israel and is easily accessible via public transit. The campus is located near the Rehovot train station and is next to Herzl Street, the main road in Rehovot, which is accessible via many bus routes.

Visitors are encouraged to use Google Maps or Moovit to find the most efficient public transportation routes to campus.

EV Charging Stations

To support the use of electric vehicles (EVs), 12 charging stations have been installed on campus.

Transportation Survey

In March 2024, we conducted a campus-wide transportation survey to understand how people typically commute to campus. The survey revealed that most employees and students commute with private vehicles. In response, we are developing several projects to support sustainable transportation, including a shuttle service and improving walkability on campus.
