At IES, we are dedicated to expanding individual research and the broader sustainability field by encouraging new ideas and experimentation. Through our ongoing lectures and events, we give Weizmann scientists and students opportunities to explore current sustainability research and challenges, helping to strengthen the campus conversation around these critical issues.
We also act as bridge between IES scientists and Bina and Yeda, helping to identify early-stage research with potential for commercialization.

BINA (Bridge, Innovate, Nurture, Advance) is a scientific unit at the Weizmann Institute with the mission to identify, nurture and support early-stage basic research projects with practical applications.

YEDA is the exclusive commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute, playing a pivotal role in identifying, protecting, and commercializing the unique intellectual property developed by our world-class scientists.
