Dima Azaiza
Dabbah (Alumni)
Dima Azaiza Dabbah is a PhD student researching chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Ronny Neumann in the Department of Molecular Chemistry and Material Science at Weizmann Institute. She has a BSc in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MSc in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
In her PhD work, Dima studies the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 towards a carbon neutral fuel cycle. She is investigating the selective electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 with a subclass of molecular inorganic compounds called polyoxometalates; this research can serve as the basis for a new technological platform with future applications.
Beyond her studies, Dima serves as a supervisor for students participating in the ‘Safe Cracking’ international physics tournament through the Davidson Institute, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute.
