Guy Reuveni is a PhD student studying the structural dynamics of semiconductors under the supervision of Prof. Omer Yaffe in the Department of Chemical and Biological Physics at the Weizmann Institute. He has a dual BSc in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an MSc in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

In his current work, Guy focuses on the study of novel semiconductors using optical spectroscopy. By employing optical methods, we can gain a deeper understanding of the intricate structure-function relation in materials. Specifically, Guy is developing a unique optical system to examine how charge carriers in semiconductors impact their dynamic behavior. These findings have profound implications for enhancing the performance and efficiency of next-generation photovoltaic technologies.
