The protein purification unit at the Structure Proteomics Unit purifies proteins of interest for the following applications: determination of biological activity, study of 3D structure (Crystallization, NMR, EM), study of structure-function relationships and interactions, protein engineering and design, raising specific antibodies, development of target-specific drugs, production of therapeutic proteins and vaccines, production of enzymes with biotechnological application & biophysical characterization.
